Life Motto's

The correct perspective in life is what most of us struggle with to be able to move forward and thrive instead of failing and feeling stuck. The following are a few says or mottos we have found that help patients and everyone in general to start reframing how we see things:

  • "Sleep is the best mood stabilizer."

  • "The more you do for others, the less they will do for themselves."

  • "Don’t find a cheerleader; find someone who holds you accountable."

  • Your romantic partner/spouse can’t be your romantic partner + your cheerleader + your mom/dad(parental figure) + your best friend + your coach + your therapist + your mentor + your business partner + your purpose in life. They can only be your romantic partner.

  • "Pain and pleasure are powerful motivators of behavior. We need both in life for a healthy balance."

  • "Your identity cannot be your job/career/profession or your spouse/kids/parents."

  • "Understanding of oneself and others is the first and only way forward."

  • "Focus on the present moment at all times; living in the future brings anxiety, and living in the past invites depression. So now is your time to act, you can’t do things in the future or the past."

  • When you wake up, your dopamine lemon is full, and if you choose high dopamine activities(video games, food, social media, internet browsing, and other distraction activities), you start squeezing the lemon 🍋 until it runs out, and then can’t accomplish other things throughout the day.

  • "Your life is a continuous marathon of peaks and valleys, everything that goes up must come down. "
